In 1999 Trek Bicycles became the first bike manufacturers outside of Europe to win the world’s most prestigious bicycle race, the Tour de France, with US Postal Service leader Lance Armstrong‘s triumphant performance.vThanks to Optimum Compaction, Low Void (OCLV) technology, the TREK bikes dominated in the world’s toughest cycling races like Tour de France, Giro di Italia, World Champioships, etc..

Alberto Contador Velasco (born 6 December 1982) is a Spanish former professional cyclist. He is one of the most successful riders of his era, winning the Tour de France twice (2007 and 2009), the Giro d’Italia twice (2008 and 2015), and the Vuelta a España three times (2008, 2012, 2014). He is one of only seven riders to have won all three Grand Tours of cycling. He was known as an attacking rider who excelled as a climber, and on his best days was also an excellent time-trialist. In 2007 he won his first Tour de France, ridding for Discovery Channel Team, directed by Johan Bruyneel.

Special parts designed for Contador like Lightweight disc wheel marked with Bontrager decals, HED 3 spoke front wheel and very aerodynamic frameset. Needless to say it’s an very special bicycle perfect to enrich any bicycle collection. It comes with a statement of Johan Bruyneel (team manager of US Postal and Discovery Channel), that it’s the Alberto Contador’s Tour de France 2007 time trial bike. Bruyneel directed Alberto Contador on his way to win Tour de France 2007 ahead of Cadel Evans and Levi Leipheimer.
