Raul and Reclus Gozzi were 2 brothers from Reggio Emilia, Italy and they founded Cicli RAULER in 1970. Before they learned their skills at Licinio Marastoni‘s workshop, who was one of the best Italian framebuilders. In early 1980s, Raul also worked for Ernesto Colnago, because of his skills regards to fine details of the lugs and frame welding. Raul was so good that, Ernesto enlisted him as a head engineer of Colnago’s Arabesque lugs design and welding custom steel pro-team framesets in the 1970s and 1980s.
Happy to present another amazing steel bike in our store – Rauler Special Pista, which dates back to mid 1980s. The superb frameset is made of Columbus SL tubing, welded with extraordinary lugs, especially designed master of the lugs Raul Gozzi. The combination of the lugs, fork crown, Rauler engravings, Campagnolo Record Pista parts and NJS steel cockpit are so beautiful, the one can easily spend an hour just looking at these special details. Love at first sight.
