Denis Nikolayevich Menchov (born 25 January 1978) is a former professional Russian cyclist, who rode as a professional between 2000 and 2013. He was best known as a general classification rider, a climber and very solid time trialist. In 2005 he finished second in the Vuelta a España and in 2007 he won it. He also won the centenary Giro d’Italia in 2009 and finished second in the Tour de France in 2010 and third in 2008. In 2004 he rode for Illes Balears and won 5 races (stage and GC at Basque Country, stage 5 at the Vuelta, stage 6 at Paris-Nice, stage 1 at Vuelta Alargon).
Proudly presenting another stunning Italian bike of the champion – OPERA Leonardo, used by Denis Menchov, when he rode for Team Illes Balears back in 2004. Superb aluminium frame with carbon forks, Campagnolo Record Titanium 10s groupset, Mavic wheels, Deda Newton stem and handlebar, Flite saddle…all in original condition.
