Ugo De Rosa, one of the most successful frame builders was born on January 27, 1934 in Milan, Italy. His passion led him to study mechanics and engineering at a technical college. Later, in early 1950s he opened his first shop and started the build racing bicycles. He supplied many champions with his high-end bicycles (Gianni Motta, Eddy Merckx and Francesco Moser…), and also strongly influenced the cycling industry with his amazing bikes from Cusano Milanino.
Here we are proudly presenting another Italian highly collectible steel jewel, the DE ROSA Professional Campagnolo 50th. The frame is work of art, made of Columbus SL, featuring the perfection and attention to details. Easy to spot especially designed ‘diamante’ chain-stays to improve the stiffness and DeRosa engravings. Completely build with the most collectible groupset ever, the Campagnolo 50th Anniversary (no.9217) and other superb parts like Cinelli De Rosa cockpit, Cinelli Unicanitor saddle, Mavic rims. Even bar ends and leather straps ends are marked De Rosa. Perfect in every detail.
