CHESINI X-Uno Aero, Campagnolo C Record Cobalto, 56.5cm (1985) – SOLD

Chesini was founded in 1925 by Gelmino Chesini in his workshop of Nesente (near Verona, Italy) when he created  his first race bike, named CHESINI BICIPRECISION.  In the post war period, the activities grow quickly and, in 1947, Gelmino Chesini acquires a bike factory, Cicli VALLETTI, and moves the headquarters of CHESINI bikes to Verona.

However Chesini never stops researching innovative solutions for its bikes. In 1963 a Chesini bike won 100km solo World Amateur Championship and in 1964 and 1965 CHESINI also won the 100km Team World Amateur Championships.

The Chesini X-Uno Aero is one of the most representative bikes of Chesini history and their top model of mid 1980s. The superb frameset is made of high end Columbus Air tubing and shining in original paintjob. Extraordinary details like ”X Uno” engravings on the lugs, bottom bracket shell and rear brake bridge, internal routing for brake and shifters cables for aerodynamic reason and beautiful paintjob makes this bike a real eyecacther. Build with Campagnolo C Record Cobalto groupset, NiSi Laser rims, 3ttt stem and handlebar, San Marco Rolls saddle straps. Comes with original Campagnolo C Record pedals. No much words needed.

Nice catch for any vintage bike lover. Original condition. Fair price.
