Chesini was founded in 1925 by Gelmino Chesini in his workshop of Nesente (near Verona, Italy) when he created his first race bike, named CHESINI BICI PRECISION. In the post war period, the activities grow quickly and, in 1947, Gelmino Chesini acquires a bike factory, Cicli VALLETTI, and moves the headquarters of CHESINI bikes to Verona. However Chesini never stops researching innovative solutions for its bikes. In 1963 a Chesini bike won 100km solo World Amateur Championship and in 1964 and 1965 CHESINI also won the 100km Team World Amateur Championships.
Happy to offer vintage Italian steel machine, Chesini Precision is one of the most representative bikes of Chesini history and their top model of early 1980s. The frame is made of Columbus SL with extraordinary details like Chesini logo and ”Precision” sign engravings on the head tube, bottom bracket shell and seat stays. Completely build with top of the top Campagnolo Super Record groupset. Love at first sight.
Nice catch for any vintage bike lover. L’Eroica ready. Fair price.
