BIANCHI Mega Pro Reparto Corse – Roberto CONTI Team Mercatone Uno 1998 – SOLD

Roberto Conti (born 16 December 1964) is an Italian former road cyclist, whose biggest win came in the 1994 Tour de France as he won the Alpe D’Huez stage after an impressive break-away. He rode for Mercatone Uno Team in years 1997-1999.

Bianchi’s Reparto Corse (Bianchi’s Race Department) facility hand built frames for their Mercatone Uno Team with riders like Marco Pantani, Roberto Conti, Marco Velo, Dmitri Konyshev, Massimo Podenzana… Aluminum was thematerial of choice back then, even some of his biggets rivals rode full carbon bikes. Their top road model Mega Pro was made of exclusive set of Plain Gauge Aluminium 7005 heat treated shaped tubes.

Proudly presenting a legendary racing machine Bianchi Mega Pro Reparto Corse, used by Italian rider Roberto Conti of Mercatone Uno Team. He helped Marco Pantani to win Giro and Tour in 1998. Roberto Conti also signed a bike.
