PORETTI Legnano Corsa SL, Campagnolo Super Record 57.5cm (1980-81) – SOLD

Poretti was a bicycle shop located in the city of Legnano, near Milan, Italy. As some other bike brands of that area, also Poretti frames were manufactured by Giovanni Losa, an expert frame builder – who also built several frames for Cinelli and Magni, among the others.

Losa’s works are easily recongnisable from the lugs with V-shaped engravings, special cut-outs and other hand crafted details. Just as this masterly manufactured frame perfectly illustrates.

Here we are presenting another Italian vintage racing machine PORETTI Legnano Corsa SL which dates back to 1980-81. The frame is work of art, made of Columbus SL tubing, Campagnolo drop-outs and shows amazing details like: cut-outs on the lugs and bottom bracket shell, Poretti engravings on the chromed head tube, Poretti’s signature on the seat stay ends… Built with Campagnolo Super Record groupset (pantograph chainring, Poretti engraved inside crank arms), Mavic GP4 wheels, 3ttt Poretti pantograph stem and San Marco Concor saddle. Impressive weight of 9.1kg for an early 1980s vintage bike.

Nice catch for every bike collector. L’Eroica ready.
