DOTTI Personal SLX (mid 1980s) – SOLD

Paolo Dotti was an Italian frame builder from Ghedi, near Brescia, Italy. He learn when working at Colnago’s factory. Later he started to produce the frames on his own and became known for high quality products using precise construction methods. He always focused on craftsmanship and details rather than quantity. 

Happy to present this rare steel beauty from mid 1980s, the DOTTI Personal SLX. The frame is made of superb Columbus SLX tubing which was the best choice of mid 1980s era. Beautiful ‘D’ cut-outs spotted on the headtube lug with Dotti engravings at the fork crown and top of the seat stays. Completely build with Campagnolo Super Record groupset, Dotti engraved seatpost, Mavic SSC rims, 3ttt cockpit and Turbo saddle.
