Ernesto Colnago was born on February 9, 1932 in Cambiago, near Milan, Italy. At age 13 he entered in world of two wheels and immediately he fall in love with bikes and cycling. In 1952 he founded Colnago and started to work as mechanic for several professional teams. Colnago’s bikes still have a domination of the world’s cycling sports because Ernesto was always an innovator and pioneer of new technologies which supposedly provide more efficency or comfort.

 The CT1 LUX B Stay frame is built upon the best of both worlds, Titanium and Carbon. This fusion of each material creates the ideal combination of comfort, efficiency, and durability. The main triangle is built with 3-2.5 Titanium, which is the source for the frame’s incredible durability, but at the same time, Titanium provides amazing vertical compliance. The front fork and rear triangle is all 3K carbon fibre. Adding carbon into the mix is what increases the lateral stiffness of the frame, while at the same time doesn’t disrupt the comfort attributes that the Titanium provides. 100% built and painted in Cambiago Italy.

Not very vintage, but still very collectible, amazing looking, top of the line machine by Colnago, completely build with Campagnolo Record 10s groupset, Ambrosio Colnago wheels with Campagnolo Record hubs, brand new Record 10s chain, Record carbon seatpost, new Flite Titanium saddle, so all original, top components.
