CARRERA Drago Altec (by Pegoretti) – authentic bike of M.SIBONI (Team Carrera Jeans 1996)

In 1989, Carrera manager Davide Boifava together with Luciano Bracchi and Francesco Boifava founded Carrera Podium, a high-end bike manufacturer. It was founded as a result of experiences gained in professional cycling races by the three partners. The company’s goal which is simple and clear, and which is supported by a rich history of over 500 victories in the most prestigious competitions. From 1990 on, Pantani, Chiappucci, Roche, Bontempi,  Abdoesjaparov, Sorensen, Tafi, Zberg, Zaina,Pavlic.. rode this Carrera bikes made by their experts. In years 1989-1996 CARRERA Podium supplied bikes for CARRERA Jeans Team.

Marcello Siboni (born 6 January 1965) is an Italian former racing cyclist. He rode in five editions of the Tour de France and seven editions of the Giro d’Italia. For 8 seasons he rode as a domestique for Marco Pantani as they were close friends.

Happy to present this superb Italian racing machine – Carrera Drago Altec (made by Pegoretti), which dates back to 1996. The frameset is made by lightest and very specific aluminium tubing: all elliptical and conical shape. Shinning in beautiful Carrera Team paintojob with best possible build: Campagnolo Record Titanium 8s groupset, Campagnolo Shamal wheels, Cinelli titanium stem and handlebar, Selle Italia Flite saddle. Not much words needed.

Great catch for any bike collector.
