SOMEC Altec, Campagnolo Record Titanium 8s, 58cm (mid 1990s) – SOLD

In 1973, a local bicycle “fanatic” Oliviero Gallegati from the Lugo (Romagna, Italy), began  to manufacture exquisite custom road bicycles and founded SOMEC (SOcieta MECchanica) which became famous for unique finished products and using the most highly evolved technological and precise construction methods.

Somec is featuring two logos, ”The tulip”, because  it is elegant, durable and comes in a vast array of colors and ”The stallion” which famous war warrior Francesco Baracca from Lugo had emblazoned on his airplane. This same horse was given by Baracca’s family to Ferrari, a prestigiuos car manufacturer.

Happy to offer a beautiful ,mid 1990s Italian racing machine – Somec Altec. The frame is made of super light Altec tubing, steel forks and shines in amazing paintjob by M.Martini. Completely built with Campagnolo Record Titanium 8s groupset, ITM cockpit, Fir wheels and Selle Italia Turbo saddle.
