Dario Pegoretti was one of the pioneers of TIG-welded frames. He made custom made high end frames for many bike champions. In 1992 he made 20 time trial frames for Team Banesto. Pegoretti used Oria tubing, reverse 26 inch “Pinarello Air”, full  internal cable routing.

Francisco Ignacio San Román (born 1966-09-04 in Ávila) is a former professional road cyclist from Spain. He rode for Banesto for 4 seasons (1990-1993). His role on the team was a “domestique” supporting team leaders like Miguel Induráin and Pedro Delgado.
