OLMO Equilateral Crono Cromovelato 26″/28″, Campagnolo Super Record, 57cm (mid 1980s)

Giuseppe Olmo (22 November 1911 – 5 March 1992) was an Italian road bicycle racer. He competed at the 1932 Olympics and won a gold medal in the team road race, placing fourth individually. In October 1935 he set a new world record for an hour’s run at 45.090 kmAs with many Italian bicycle racers, after his retirement in the late 1930s he began building bicycles, and founded Olmo (also known as Olmo Biciclette). The Olmo Biciclette manufacturing center was set up in his home town of Celle Ligure Italy in 1938.They produced some very high quality bicycles often comparative quality to the great Colnago.

Proudly presenting another iconic Italian racing machine – OLMO Equilateral Crono 26″/28″ which dates back to mid 1980s. Superb frame is  shinning in beautiful Cromovelato paint job. Built with Gipiemme full disc wheels,  Campagnolo Super Record – Olmo pantograph groupset, 3ttt Olmo time trial stem and handlebar, San Marco Concor saddle.  A real eye-catcher.

Nice catch for any vintage bike collector.
