Gianni Motta (born 13 March 1943) is an Italian famous cycling champion who won the 1966 Giro d’Italia. After his successful career, he turned to building top class bicycles that lived up to their name. These bicycles are famous for their elegance, stiffness and efficient power transmission. The top of the line model was called ‘Personal’. The bike we present here is one of them – More than a bicycle, simply a piece of art.
Amazing road bike with incfredible history. Bike was made in 1986, in honnor of 20th anniversary of Gianni Motta’s Giro d’Italia 1966 victory. The frame is made of Oria Ranf Cro-Mo Mannesmann tubing. You can easily detect the famous octogonal Motta crown. The original paintjob shows the metallic pink, as a celebration of Giro di Italia win. This special bicycle is equipped with a complete Campagnolo C-Record groupset with famous Delta brakes. The fully original 1986 setup makes this superb racer a great catch for any collector.
