Cicli Daccordi was founded in the 1937 in Tuscany, thanks to 24 year old Giuseppe Daccordi’s cycling passion. In 1950s,  cycling established itself as one of the most popular sports thanks to their use among common people, and the celebrated Italian heroes of cycling Coppi and Bartali. Because of this cycling evolution, the  two craftsmen working on racing bicycles and building frames for some of the most famous brands of that time.

In 1960s, the two co-founders left the helm of the company to Giuseppe’s son, Luigi Daccordi, who radically changed the company’s trademark. In addition to the creative skills inherited by his father, Luigi decided to create his own brand. Almost twenty years later, in 1981, the new Daccordi became well-known in Italy and abroad. Since then, Daccordi means fast and durable bicycles, extremely detailed and on the perfect balance between tradition and innovation: the past mixed with the future and high quality with the present.

 

In 1986 Luigi Daccordi celebrated 50th anniversary of their family business he decided to create a very special Daccordi bike. He created beautiful Daccordi 50anni SLX frame-sets with special pantographs and golden touches in limited series.

Happy to present another very exclusive Italian steel beauty  – DACCORDI 50anni SLX. Superb frameset is made of super light Columbus SLX tubing snd shines in beautiful metallic dark blue paint job. It’s easy to detect stunning Daccordi 50anni details appeared in many locations like fork crown, lugs, seat clamp, rear brake bridge. The cherry on the top of the cake is  Campagnolo 50th Anniversary groupset (no.11708) and other superb parts: 3ttt Record cockpit, San Marco Rolls saddle, Mavic rims. Even leather straps on the pedals are marked with Campagnolo 50th Ann.
