COLNAGO Master Olympic (59cm) 1993 – SOLD

Ernesto Colnago was born on February 9, 1932 in Cambiago, near Milan, Italy. At age 13 he entered in world of two wheels and immediately he fall in love with bikes and cycling. In 1952 he founded Colnago and started to work as mechanic for several professional teams. His first big success as a frame builder dates back in 1960 when Luigi  Arienti won gold medal at the Rome Olympic games. Colnago’s bikes still have a domination of the world’s cycling sports because Ernesto was always an innovator and pioneer of new technologies which supposedly provide more efficency or comfort.

The Master Olympic is constructed of Columbus nivachrome “Gilco” shaped steel tubing with top, seat and down tube drawn in “star shape” with internal cable routing on top tube, chromed chainstays and Precisa straight fork. The Master Olympic was very successful racing bike in early/mid 1990s era and was available in several beautiful eye-catching paint schemes.

Here we are offering another Colnago’s masterpiece, the Master Olympic. It dates back to 1993/94 and it’s made of Columbus Gilco star shapped tubing, build with Campagnolo Chorus groupset, 3ttt cockpit, new San Marco Regal saddle and shines in amazing paintjob.
