BIANCHI TSX Reparto Corse, Campagnolo C-Record Delta 8s, 64cm (1992)

Bianchi is the world’s oldest bicycle-making company still in existence, founded in 1885 by Eduardo Bianchi in Milan, Italy. No doubt, Bianchi is the pioneer of bicycle development since the beginning. They invented equal-sized wheels with pneumatic rubber tires in 1895, first bicycle ever featuring a cardan joint transmission in 1901 and front brake system in 1913.

Back in 1992, Bianchi sponsored Team GB-MG Maglificio under the guidance of Flemish team management with a very strong team of Fabio Baldato, Franco Ballerini, Franco Chioccioli, Andrej Tchmil and the young sprinter Mario Cipollini as well as neo-prof Davide Rebellin. The team was immediately successful, with four Giro d’Italia stage wins by Mario Cipollini, who was also victorious in Gent–Wevelgem. F.Chioccioli won a stage in the Tour de France and finished third overall in the Giro.
