BIANCHI Titanio Reparto Corse – authentic bike of F.BALDATO (GM-MG Team 1994) – SOLD

Bianchi is the world’s oldest bicycle-making company still in existence, founded in 1885 by Eduardo Bianchi in Milan, Italy. No doubt, Bianchi is the pioneer of bicycle development since the beginning. They invented equal-sized wheels with pneumatic rubber tires in 1895, first bicycle ever featuring a cardan joint transmission in 1901 and front brake system in 1913.

Bianchi’s Reparto Corse (Bianchi’s Race Department) facility hand built frames for their top riders and Team GB – MG Maglificio was sponsored by Bianchi back in mid 1992-1994. They had some of the best riders on board back then: F.Baldato, D.Cassani,  J.Museeuw, W.Peeters, D.Rebellin, M.Sciandri, R.Sorensen. Some of their best riders had privilege to race on custom made prototype bikes, that were never for sale for public. And we are presenting one of those bikes here. Bianchi officiliay started to sell titanium bikes with releasing Bianchi 110th anniversary bike in 1995. But Baldato was racing on titanium bike already in 1994.

Proudly presenting anotherextraordinary racing machine – Bianchi Titanio Reparto Corse. Superb frame is made of superlight titanium 3AL-2,5V tubeset shining in original celeste paint with original parts: Shimano Dura Ace 7410 groupset, Ambrosio Servizio Corse wheels, San Marco saddle, original team edition tubulars. Love at first sight.
